A Grand Book Fair in Kolkata

Kolkata, 15 January 2026 :The Kolkata Book Fair took place at Central Park last week. The fair started on 5 January and continued for seven days. The gates opened at 12:00 PM and closed at 8:00 PM every day.

The organizers set up more than two hundred stalls. Famous publishers displayed various types of books. Visitors found storybooks, text books, science fiction, and poetry collections. People of all ages visited the stalls and bought their favorite books.

The fair committee arranged a large food court near the exit. The food stalls served delicious snacks, tea, and sweets to the visitors. Many readers enjoyed hot coffee with new books.

The public loved the entire arrangement. Visitors expressed great happiness about the peaceful environment and wide variety of books. The fair ended on a very successful note.
